needs more work from the player than the developers bothered to put in
PC Fallout 3 is a real gamble. It's almost like having a girlfriend. The overall experience is great, but it takes some responsibility. If you want to buy this game for PC you have to accept some responsibility. The game crashes a lot and needs an assload of fixes to get working. The game has GFWL which needs to be disabled, the game crashes after the intro which will need to be fixed, the game will crash about every ten minutes without fixes, the game dips from 60 to 20 for seconds at a time even on good computers without a fix. But trust me, once you mod the game with fixes, you'll have a great time. The game just requires some dedication to get working.

Great, but not without its flaws
This game is huge, especially with all the DLC (which is admittedly of varying quality). I love the huge map and post apocalyptic world. The main story isn't as gripping as it could have been (the dodgy voice acting and facial animation are partly to blame) and I wasn't too bothered about completing all the side missions as things got a little too easy once I'd reached a certain level. Nevertheless this is a great game which you can easily put hundreds of hours into. The atmosphere created and post-apocalyptic world you explore is what makes this game special, the gameplay and story isn't perfect however!
