Story and world building started out great, but game play was another matter. Melee combat is hard to do in general and make it fun, so was hoping it would be counter balanced with some fun gun play, but in the end, it just wasn't fun. I would have rather it been strictly an FPS with the solid story/world building. However, it ended up similar to Alien: Fireteam Elite.
